Szymanów has been bustling with aviation activity since 1983, hosting events and competitions. Residents of Wrocław and the surrounding area can participate daily in the activities of the landing site and spend their free time with "flight enthusiasts." In 2016, the Wrocław Aeroclub undertook to organize a series of sporting events – from several Polish Championship competitions to the world-class World Games.
